We bought a pin badge for Tim's collection, a Pandora moped bead for my charm bracelet to remind me of our Amalfi experience and most importantly a sandwich to eat en-route. We stopped at Faro lighthouse overlooking an inlet where a few small boats had anchored and local children ...

There were many jokes racing around when we were shown the frescoes that decorated the lintels of the bedrooms in the brothels. There was genuine horror when they saw the stone beds and pillows. ... Island with a sheer, vertical drop of 300 m to the beautiful, blue/turquoise water below. There is a point of the villa which is called Tiberius Jump. Once you step of the cliff, that's it, you fall 300m to your death. It should have been called Tiberius Push, because that's what he used to do to those who irritated him, hence the name. I could imagine his victims' terror as I stood there and peered over the barrier - it chilled ...
