I am officially a leaf peeper! That is somebody who travels around just to look at the autumn leaves. And they have been fairly spectacular,although not quite at their peek. ... plane again after 4 weeks of buses! God knows what my case weighs but I'm sure I should be in weight seeing as I sent home big parcels the other day. Paul made a chicken soup for dinner which tasted just like this soup I used to get mum to buy when I was younger from lidl which I absolutely loved! Brought back memories. Upon our return we enjoyed a "nautical" lunch in a great local pub before wandering through the picturesque shops, streets and docks of Newport, which have a real holiday feel about them!
Today we had a bit of a slower start before heading out. We went to Worlds End State Park. Drove past some pretty amazing homes on the way, later we found out that it was one of the proposed locations for the United Nations.
