... at 7am the next morning, it was a struggle. The Contiki tour of the west coast of America was brilliant. Everything was oganised for us but still had some free time, Lauren (tour guide) was brilliant, all accommodation was swish (compared to what I’ve become used to), met some fantastic people (lots to stay with in Aussie!!!) and seen so many amazing sights that will not be forgotten. At the start of the tour I thought it seemed quite expensive but looking back I think it was great value.

... We walked down a magnificent, flower-enclosed stairway to a beach holding no more than ten people, all of whom looked local. Unfortunately, the weather was a little chilly and overcast, but I didn't care, we were in Laguna Beach. ... an hour or so on the bus back to Anaheim at night on the 5 lanes each way chock-a-block freeway. Food is very big here - serves are quite large and much fried or stodgy choices (pizza, churros, pancakes.... but even my chicken caesar salald was too much tonight. Anyway might leave it at that for now - suffice to say we're having a good time. Back to the real Disneyland tomorrow then Friday back to LAX to head to Cresswell, Oregon.

... the waves crashing in, while looking at the mountains glitterling with the lights from peoples homes. I feel that bars often are very pushy with their food and just having a drink only gets you a free round of rolling eyes. Not so here. We got a prime spot on the terrace and they even had a little "snack" menu. We ordered Guacamole, Chips and Salsa ...

... and we are staying at St.ChristophersVillage in a 12 room dorm. She's got everything planned for us practically down to the minute for days we're together.! Should be a really great time! I'm not the best writer,a bit lazy, and Internet isn't always speedy and accessible but I'm going to do my best to keep this journal up to date and not bore you all to death. That loud noise was the sound of my lungs hitting the wall as I coughed. 20 plus hours in transit = unhappy and sick Mike. Where to start?? Where have I been? It seems like ages since my last entry, but its just been a few days! After my last blog entry I was packing up and heading to West Hollywood (weho) to a new hostel. I caught some bus for about 45mins to the Orbit hostel in Weho. I hadn't book this one, but was lucky enough that there was some space :). This new hostel was pretty kewl, it was boys and girls mixed doors which i think is more fun.
