... about what conclusions or questions that people would jump to, we halted, seeing two women walking out from the school into the car park. We immediately asked how to get to the beach. Apparently it was the road NEXT to the school, so we slid down the little slope connecting the two and started walking. All of a sudden, a car pulled up beside us. "Need a ride?" It was one of the women we had stopped. "My car's a huge mess but I can drop you by the beach if you want?" She ...

... Cozy Cone Motel, Flo's V8 Cafe and the leaning tower of tyres at Luigi's. It was cool to feel like you were living in the movie. "A Bug's Land" was also a cleverly designed place, it had huge clovers three storeys high and oversized eaten fruit and other decor to make you feel tiny like a bug. The bathroom building was made to look like an old tissue box.

By only 2pm we felt that we'd done everything we wanted to do at the park, so we left and had a look at some ...

Me and Fletch then went on the roller coaster which was ok, until it did a loop. I can handle roller coasters but when it loops I get bad motion sickness. By mid morning the heat was incredible. We spent a small fortune on water. Went on one ride which was a large tube ride down a river, it was really hot so it was a good way to ...

... the problem of dampness by going on California Screamin'

But we think by far the best overall ride experience was Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land, so we're going to detail it. It was a favourite of many people too, with queues of up to 85 minutes attesting to the fact! (Apparently there were queues up to 6 hours on opening day... hmm, that seems a little desperate!) We fast passed this ride, going earlier to get a ticket which gauranteed minimal ...

... which we were on for over 300 miles. After about 3 and a half hours we stopped off at a McDonalds for lunch and a wee break and to swap over driving. While Mel was driving I caught up with this blog getting yesterday's written up and today's started while I could so I can be ahead of myself and looking at the scenery, not that there was too ...
