This did not help our confidence in his ability at all but he did get us to terminal 5 without any dramas. I bought some noise-cancelling headphones to retain sanity on the flight. I could be way off, but it's a lot! So, I am one of four non Chinese passengers on the plane & the other three are in first class. The flight attendants speak Chinese, of course, to everyone and I'm lucky if when they get to me ...

During this time I plan to read grapes of wrath, pretend to read grapes of wrath, and then eventually give up on reading grapes of wrath, convincing myself I'll just read it on the plane. I like airports. I mean 3 hours is a long time to spend in one, but it's nice to not to be doing anything for awhile. Dad just got ...
