    Our tour group then boarded our bus and were driven to Mount Vesuvius. We parked at the bottom and then boarded some large 4 wheel drive buses which took us to a higher parking lot on the mountain.     ... wow, so many people and lights and shops! We were shocked to see it this lovely here. We walked around for a little but got hungry quick so went to a restaurant for dinner and each got a pasta dish. We had bruschetta for starter and it was delicious! Bradden had a margarita with his meal but I just had a coke. After our meals, we were given a shot of lemonchelo which is what they drink after meals to help their food digest.     ... though and I'm glad I'm getting to know everyone better who I came here with. On to day 3. Today we took a bus to Pompeii. I was pretty excited. I've learned so much about ancient architecture and I enjoy any opportunity I get to see it. We didn't go on a tour or anything but my friends and I explored and took pictures. I was able to pick up on a lot of things myself. I tried to guess where the poor people lived over the rich and tried to imagine what the different public spaces were ...

    ... Well I was watching the sunset whilst Niomi was playing with the ants on our balcony haha.

    On our last day we spent it relaxing around our pool and trying to get some last minute sun before we headed to the airport. It was a perfect way to end a busy but amazing holiday. I just wish we had one whole day where we could have spent around the pool with a couple of beers and cocktail. Again more reason to go back.
