      ... course, but it was still cheaper than a taxi or the tourist bus which was going to be a two hour wait…they take their siestas very seriously in Spain.

      We decided to walk back down to the station, which was rather pleasant. The kids had the promise of an ice cream dangled like a carrot in front of them so they were more than happy to take the walk down.

      ... last July, none of the small shops would take Euros. So we found a ATM and I withdrew 100 Kuna. Edie promptly bought 2 cokes for 44 kuna. So I had withdrawn about $20.
