We've never lived in a more luxurious location than this. The sun, sea and fantastic people make it like a honeymoon. In fact, they even have a wedding pavillion - tempting eh ;-) We love the views of the entire town from our bedroom suite. Plush, and typically mediterranean. Definitely the best hotel in Cyprus. No two ways about it! Not sure where we're headed to next. Time will tell. Swimming pool beckons for now ;-)

... into details because the majority of anyone else couldn't care less about some British built beauty. I enjoyed every second of that ride and it was worth the hassles I am finding in Cyprus that I will get to in a bit.
During my connection in Athens, I had to pass through security and the bag screener there completely amused me. I hadn't even stepped up to the screening machine and he was already rushing me. I was going to take the liquids out of my ...
... D cell batteries, condoms, lube, lighters and cigarettes. Now how is that for before, during and after needs all in one stop?
There is a lesson to be learned here from all this. Think about it for a moment...20 years ago this type of display much less selection in Bulgaria would have been unthinkable under communism. In 2009 in our supposed home of the free such a display still is unthinkable. I mean we can't even look at the ...
All packing and cleaning is underway !!! Only 36 or so hours left before we hit the tarmac at Larnaca !! Just need to get the dog wormed and de-flead (not that he has them !), groomed and then buy him a travel box for the flight !
Fingers crossed all our accommodation arrangements have been made for Athens and Samothraki !
... all just fit and seemed perfect. On the return to Paphos we spotted
the spot where Aphrodite was born from the sea and her temple up on a
cliff. It was a very long day but one filled with several
interesting sites. I almost forgot...in Larnaka we happened upon the
church of St.. Lazarus where he was finally laid to rest.
... in high season the place becomes Europe's clubbing capital. Inland villages provide most of the necessities required by the large expat community who reside here favouring the pleasant year round climate. During our visit the farmers were harvesting the potatoes; I have to say the Cypriot new potatoes are probably the best potatoes in the world. It must be the rich, red soil around these parts. We visited Nicosia, just over an hour away from ...
Ayia Napa, Cyprus andyfreshwater... all over the world by midnight on the 18 of April.) My family was worried we would miss this big ceremony in jeruselum but we had it right in front of us on the plane. On the next plane ride I sat next two brothers one was my age and one was 10. They were jewish and the 7th grader was getting back from his bar-miztvah trip just like me. Esther
Larnaca, Cyprus grossmanjh... of giving yourself an unpredictable persona is you must stick to the act in order to keep your audience, id used everything up my sleaze węth the utterly original pool incident and not exactly being full of interesting tricks i was a bit ****ed. i considered doing a cossack dance wıth a carrot up my bum but i dont think it woulda been as graciously recieved. i suffered anyway the next day for thinking i was cool and convinced myself i had ...
Protaras, Cyprus jordanblair100... quite small. Of course there is a nice view but still I wanted it to be a bit more spacious. Besides, we shall be living here for 7 nights !!! The days spent here are relaxing, and most of the time we are down the beach. The funny thing is that although I love this bay here, yet I find that there is not a place for walking and jogging, a thing that I love doing early every morning when I go out and walk for 8 kms. All these days here are spent idling around and ...
Protaras, Cyprus greekcypriot... This is a sport I love, and this is the reason why I am here. The beach is called MAKENZIE, and it is just 800metrs from the city centre of Larnaca. It is a place which actually looks like a small park at the end of the city, just 3 km from the airport. It has palm trees, and many nice restaurants for a night out. Centrally located, and ideal for tourists who want to enjoy real Mediterranean holidays!
