... lot! Apparently Santiago broke a record in January for raining 30 days out of 31! It's a good job I came prepared with my waterproof, umbrella and walking boots. We set off on our way to the Old Town and stopped in a park on a hill to look at the view of the city below. Unfortunately one of the cathedral's towers was covered in scaffolding, but never mind. Instead, we headed over to the Church of San Martin. This one cost only €2.50 and is associated with our hotel. Maybe there were no crypts nor could you get on the roof, but it was still impressive.
