It was obvious that she had shat herself. She was trying to find out from the driver how to get to Compton/LA, to which the driver kept repeating the same instructions: to get off this bus, cross the road, and get on the number 1 to Long Beach, and once there, ask for a bus to LA. Long, long, long day that actually started at home in NZ at 6.00 am Monday morning and is finally finishing at 10.00 pm Monday night but in Anaheim, California. The food was nice Beef casserole or Chicken curry for dinner ...

... things after entering the park, and having not long been to Disney World in Orlando for the third time only the week before; was looking down Main Street USA. Cinderella's Castle looked so small! Although it's not changed, Cinderella's Castle at Disney World's Magic Kingdom is about four times the size as that in Disneyland. There were other changes, like the rides and attractions, some of which were to mirror those first introduced at the Magic ...

Fatigued and hungry we took the freeway to Anaheim in the late afternoon where we will spend the next few days at Disneyland and California Adventure Park. I was intrigued by my first visit to a US supermarket. I found 80 corn tortillas in one bag for $3.57 - too good to be true. While the girls rolled their eyes I saw the opportunity for a lot of Mexican dinners for very little ...
