Just after 1230 we headed for the guest house and I must say I was pleasantly surprised!! Wow!!!! It was the most stunning setting and room ...

... town and a beach on the lagoon and on the other there is a nature reserve and an ocean beach (or as Briers calls it the "real beach"). On the first couple of days of grey skies and storms we spent our days teaching Elis how to play pool, a skill which she still hasn’t quite perfected, and enjoying a sizeable quantity of beer and wine. We also visited Saldanha Bay that is situated on the other side of the bay from Langebaan and is more of a port. Saldanha is a Portuguese word ...
