... and most incredibly, a mother White Rhino and her calf. We chanced upon them when we were heading back to base at sunset and had all but stopped looking for animals after over five hours of driving when suddenly in an area of thick vegetation the two Rhinos appeared out of nowhere only 30ft in front of us! "Hiking Table Mountain"

So when we asked people who have been to Cape Town what they recommended doing, everyone said you have to climb Table Mountain! Which is funny, since, those of you who live in Golden know, we used to hike Table Mountain there a lot! ... nibbles made for a wicked night. At one point we had a pod of dolphins swimming alongside us – it was like something out of a movie haha!! Stopping and joining some great street entertainers for a while while we waited for a taxi back to Long Street was hilarious before yet another night in the hostel bar.
