... teachers hands. In the evening I had the celebration with the Trust children, the same thing they get, with the happy bday song, followed by me handing out sweets and a yummy cake to all of them. The girls also made me a very sweet card too. The other volunteers (Sarah the key organiser), arranged for an evening of Kingfisher beer, nibbles and games, what more could you ask for!?

... for lunch on the way and were given banana leaves to eat off and attempted to eat with our RIGHT hands, interesting! We were given water to wash our leaves with and some chicken...oh goodness, meat and water, 2 things we were told not to have especially on our first day, but we overcame that hurdle and so far our tummys are still functioning!
