Maybe I was a bad history student, but I don’t think I knew anything about Apartheid, other than that it existed, or any of the history of South Africa before this trip. I still know very little, but it’s a far cry from where I was before.

17th Feb - Perth to Jo-burg After an 11 hrs, 4 movies and 3 ice creams we arrived in Jo-burg airport. We had arranged a transfer to our accommodation The Ritz (which our friend Alex later nicknamed 'the shitz').
