... really nice to get to sit down with Gladstone and have him explain to us more about life in the townships. Again it was a very eye opening experience for us and our hearts went out to the people, especially the children, in these communities but it was also obvious to us that the circumstances aren’t holding the citizens of the townships back and that most of them are living good happy lives despite their difficult surroundings. He thanked us for feeding him and his family a meal and that it meant so much to them all to have in his words, “such wonderful sandwiches.” That was a great ...

The evening was great too; no romantic meal for two, but a group or 16 volunteers went to a great restaurant called Mama Africa. It had a live African band which were so good and had the most ridiculous energy I have ever seen! Food was great; I had crocodile kebabs – just like pork and really nice!
