The mighty Dolomite Passes
... sun has come out in the valley below. It’s an amazing sight so let’s just hope it breaks away this mist up here also.
Soon there’s nothing but blue skies and the temp starts to rise so looks like it’s going to be yet another wonderful day.

... place is full of snow.
The road is becoming harder and harder to ride on with patches of ice all over the show. I’m having to ride extremely gently up this winding road and simply keep my speed to about 25mph.
The pass we are climbing is "Passo del Tonale" which is only 1884m at the summit.
I stopped my bike on a number of occasions on the way up this pass and was extremely surprised just how slippery it was even to walk on this road surface. The ...
