    ... station on our way to Shanghai. Beijing truly was a remarkable place, with so much history and tradition we probably could have stayed a little longer. The tour and our time there was heightened by the service, no friendship of our new companion Flora! She was the best tour guide we could of asked for, she taught us so much, catered to our needs and interests and humoured us with interesting facts and stories. What a tour guide!     ... t catch a break today. So, I just told him to take us to Nanwei Lu, which is right by the school, and then directed him towards the school from there. When I talk to people, I usually have trouble communicating with them. Luckily, this taxi driver understood everything I said. I was very, very happy. Plus, that chapter on how to give directions when I took Elementary Chinese actually turned out to be pretty useful today.
