... guide suggested we go to lunch. We ate at a Beijing style noodle house. The food was ok but pretty bland, especially since I specifically asked for something spicy. I managed to slurp my noodles without wearing any this time so I felt I accomplished something.

Steeven our first taxi driver pointed out a great Peking Duck restaurant so we gave it a try and wasn't disappointed! Lovely restaurant inside a funcy shopping mall. In the centre which is surrounded by a small river of koi carp were huge stone ovens where they cooked the duck! We opted for a set meal, scampi sashimi which was raw giant prawns - absolutely amazing! See the pics :) Then creamy asparagus soup followed by a spicy cabbage dish ...
