On the road and on-line at last!
Well folks, what can I say. Eventually got on line. 25 hours travel ling from Taif, landed in LA about 8 at night, too tired and too drunk to write anything. Next day, busy faffing around and another long day, rode the 66 through Amboy and in to Needles on the California/Arizona border. Serious bad surface nearly caught me out and very nearly off …

25 hours after leaving Taif, I arrived in LA on the same day I left. I was well knackered and too tired to write so I got drunk! Day 1 of the ride, faffed around getting paperwork done and a few modifications to the horse then underway. I have to say that I had a grin on my face from ear to ear! Nearly ran out of fuel in the Mohave desert but …
