By the time everyone was on, we departed at 7:30am, arriving at the Grand Canyon at 2:30pm ...

... woke early to catch the sun rise over the Canyon this morning. It was a magical experience. Then we finally got to put on our walking boots and trek down one of the canyon trails - Bright Angel Trail - into the canyon itself. Got half way to Colorado river before turning back. 9.4miles later we staggered into our bedroom and nearly collapsed from exhaustion! Despite starting out at 6.30am, by 10am the sun ...
