On Friday night went out again to a few Chinese clubs. I think things may have lost their flare since last time, but the experience was one different than from back home. Crazy music, elevated dance floors, and free drinks because you are white. That about sums up a night out in China.

... Some of the ex-pat restaurants were offering a Thanksgiving dinner for $30 a plate – we were thinking of going, but just too tired. I did see 1 frozen turkey for sale – about 10-12lbs, for $100. As we’ve said, you can get most anything here, but you’re going to pay top dollar for it.

... not the same as home, but not bad. There was also a Chinese wedding reception at the hotel so it was buzzing with activity. The bride wore a western white long gown - don't know if that's customary or not.
