False Start
We had a spectacular weekend up in Michigan at my folks' place. There was a wonderful party, great food, and a house filled to the brim with love. Still haven't gotten over introducing Travis as "my husband" - it still gives me very girly giggles.

Day eight
Today we crossed the Cumberland Gap and had a picnic lunch at the visitor center. We figure that walking on the trail is another adventure.
After leaving that area we encountered rain in Lexington, KY and drove through that until we reached Wooster, OH.
Glad to be home again. No more trips till 2013.

We left Illinois headed to Ohio we wanted to make up some time and distance. The day started out good and we were making good time on good roads on I70 East. We arrived home mid-afternoon. Wow, home looks better every trip!
To date, we have logged 13,482 driving miles since Keith's retirement. We have one more trip in October, so keep your bags packed!
