We got up fairly early and ate a quick breakfast in the Windjammer in order to be ready for getting off to go on our excursion. I had some tummy troubles. So we went down to the doctor's office and I got some meds before we got off the ship. No more troubles the rest of the day.

... of the island the waters were rough and it was a lot more wild with less resorts and people. The beaches were beautiful, but not really swimmable. Next stop was for another snorkel. We docked at Cozumel at around 8am and immediately disembarked with the tour group to visit Chichen Itza, the best Mayan ruin and one of the wonders of the world. Chichen Itza is on the mainland Mexico while Cozumel is actually an island off the coast of the Yucatan Pennisula and so once we disembarked from the ship, we re-boarded a small ferry to take us 45 minutes to the mainland and then to a connecting bus from Playa ...
