... vendors. He grabbed my hand while I thought we were just shaking hands, and yanked me towards his store. NOPE! Definitely not okay! Ugh!! And then we had another guy insist on giving us hugs and proceed to guilt us into his store where his uncle pressured us SO HARD to buy something. It was extremely uncomfortable to say the least! Luckily that was the last of that nonsense after that everyone was very nice, thank goodness.

... bar girl was Swedish. All of them made us feel at home and Daniel, getting into the swing of things, kept giving everyone free tequila shots. Proudly Cathy had her fist tequila shot in 30 years! After the second shot the bar girl very kindly snuck apple juice into our glasses, the 4th had us trying to distribute what we could into other peoples glasses! Too many beers later had us head home for what was going to be a seedier than normal start to a ...

... back...we walked. I think our tour guide said it was about 2 miles. So many folks walked up the steep steps to the alter where sacrifices we made, but we didn’t...Richard’s foot was bothering him he was limping and I knew I’d have to be rescued by a helicopter or something. We did get some good pictures though.

... En El Paraiso Raggae Beach Bar, we received one signature drink and then whatever else we wanted to buy for the remainder of approximately an hour at each venue. Suffice to say that, even with warnings to "pace yourself" from our hosts, Doug and Sylvia (and driver Santiago), the end of the day was, for many, drunker than they had perhaps intended.
