The Rock of Gibraltar was very visible as we docked this morning. A mere 800metres from the dock and we were in the town centre at Casemate Square. Historically, Gibraltar would have always been on the defensive, even today Spain makes moves for control. It is strategically located and fuel, alcohol and jewellery are duty free.
