I packed the car, he put away the tent and (after a small disagreement over waiting for each other to go to the bathroom had blown over) I drove out of the overflow camp site at watchman campground with parking lights on only. ... look overly promising. Lightening and rain forecast from 2. On the plus side, the temperature was much lower than the day before, so we decided to head out in out Dodge to the Hoover Dam. The journey was around 50 minutes and went smoothly considering it was my first drive in America for 3 years! When we arrived we paid $10 for parking and went for a look around! To be honest there wasn't an awful lot to see, other than the dam of course!! But we ...

From there we started the five hour drive to Las Vegas. We saw beautiful mountains and Joshua trees. It did seem to go on forever but we eventually hit the lights of Vegas. It was late and we were quite tired so we ...
