... the girl who does the timetable was able to give me some materials and eventually I found another English teacher who could actually speak English and she explained that it was a couple of 1-on-1 lessons with a girl and her sister preparing for a skype interview to get into a high school in the USA. ... motorcycles, scooters, bikes, and pedestrians. The light just turns green and you go. Driving is insane, there might as well not be any lanes painted on the road. Driving here is kind of like a cat, "if it fits, it sits", so "if it fits, it goes"... and sometimes not even if it fits it still goes. But the taxis are pretty cheap which is good.
There are a ton of markets around here, so we went to the supermarket to get food to keep ...

... other side of town which is good in some ways at least I will be immersed in the local culture. Fortunately I do happen to bump into the landlady frequently and she can sure talk the hind leg off a mule, even when I don't understand and am quite unresponsive. She is really nice though and is kind of treating me like a son always checking up on how I am doing, and I really appreciate that.

... also a lovely guy with almost no English but they took me to inspect a place, only 1700 per month and quite nice, fully furnished with new furniture. The area looks poor but the landlord was friendly and I think seems quite fine having a Laowai (slang for foreigner) living there. I decided to take it, and will move in tomorrow. What a relief.
