... our site was right near the Mexican site… oh and we have our own Grapefruit tree, but then there are also a lot of oranges, tangerines, lemons… so pick whatever you want… our new favorite lunch is therefore: fruit salad. ... temperature, so time to go. It had been a good experience, particularly things like the magnificent night skies - stars not polluted by lights and quite breathtaking. Also the things that became the norm, like the constant booms from the Yuma Proving Ground when they were testing Military 'stuff', low flying Military Aircraft and Helicopters and large, large balloons which were positioned on the Border in an attempt to prevent Mexican crossings.
