      ... allowed to take pictures but there are plenty of photos on the net, so go figure!

      Then we went to the river port town of Alexandria in Virginia. The place was buzzing. It reminded me of Fremantle but with less italians and more crazies. Lots of buskers. The black trio doing the shoo whap routine were particularly good. The harpy was rubbish. It was worse when she started to sing.

      ... ribs and Luke got steak and they were both huge, cheap and so so good. Seriously exactly what we wanted and I cannot recall the last time we have had meat that good. The walk home however was pure misery, we were back in the wind and weren't checking things out just pure power walking in the doom so it seemed like the longest walk ever.

      The next day, and our last on holiday, Luke slept in and I went shopping! It is so cheap here but as were aren't super flash ...

      ... of relief when the ladies suggested to split up and do some shopping, leaving the gentlemen free to explore the historic sights of Georgetown.       This morning when I woke up I felt like I could have just stayed a bit longer and kept sleeping, but I knew being in DC I wanted to see as much as possible, so again we hopped on the bus to take us right down into the heart of DC.
