... the next morning we had received instructions on how to get back to the Interstarte. This was so simple and was on good roads. Oh the joys of travelling.

We had left Florida, two days ago, now we have crossed three states and are back in Texas heading down to Pharr. We will get there tomorrow (6th December) and will be able to take it easy for a while.

... The major coup of the day was filling up at Walmart and paying $2.99 a gallon (with the discount). We stopped at a lighthouse museum and drove by Lighthouse Beach which has an RV park right on the water. We then returned to "G/G" for lunch. The Bakers had not arrived, so after lunch we drove out to Lolita, TX for a visit to Lavaca Bluffs Vineyard & Winery. Their wines are very smooth and leave no after taste like some wines ...

Several months ago I coerced Bob into being the wagon masters for the Nov rally. He was hesitant, but finally agreed. Since we haven't been too far from home since May, we decided we would visit the Texas Lakeside RV Park in Port Lavaca and make sure we have a great rally.
