Long trip home
... and met us there. After dinner, we all headed home. I arrived home at 10:40 PM, which was. 5:40 AM Rome time. I took a shower and was in bed by 11 PM. A few pet peeves from 2 days driving:
1) This applies to motorcycles. What is that dark black rubbery **** they use to patch the road? It becomes unbelievably slippery in the rain. The 401 has hundreds of miles of it and there are two lines of it in each lane so you are left driving in the nine inch ...
8 days, 16 hours and 6 minutes
... in Portage, MI from 10:30 AM until about 3:30; an appointment for a haircut in St. Joseph at 4:30 and a meeting in Decatur at 7 PM. Phew!
I have to work Saturday, so I will be tossing stuff at my suitcase all week and will hopefully have time on Sunday to actually pack and see if it all fits and weighs less than 50#!!

Week 4 - Michigan at Notre Dame
... a 30 minute concert prior to the game. They stand on the steps of Bond Hall on campus, and run through their music. Then, after a bit of a break, they march to the stadium with quite a few fans following behind, including Michelle and me. Their halftime show was fantastic! Getting ready!
We leave in 12 days, I am starting to feel overwhelmed by the packing, getting things at work ready and stuff ready at home for the family. So much to do, boy do I need a vacation! This will be my first big cruise and first time to Italy.
