      Left Richmond with great hopes for putting a lot of miles behind us but were thwarted by winter. Almost like it was following us. After only 4 hours we had to end our day due to over (according to the news) 100 accidents on the Interstate 95 corridor.       ... the Meadow. Cooks heat the stone in an oven or on a grill and it retains heat while imparting some flavor. It also makes for an unusual presentation. I jumped at the chance to feast on half-price sushi at the happy hour at Uchu Sushi and Fried Chicken (3940 N Mississippi Ave). Great deal! Two orders of sushi for $9-- remember, no tax!

      ... hour. On the plane we go, doors closed, back away from the gate, and then the pilot comes on the PA to say that we're going back. Apparently the FAA had just put a hold on traffic into Houston due to big thunderstorms in the area. They've told the pilot that it will be an hour, and he tells us, that he's going to let us off the plane, rather than sit on the tarmac. I figure that if he's going to let us ...
