    ... countryside. It ranged from flat prairie land to quite mountainous ridges. Some of the hills were remarkably green and lush, but somehow looked man made. Perhaps they were. For much of the journey, the road was dual carrageway, but it opened up to four lanes for the last 100 miles of the 350 mile run. If only British roads were like this. Traffic flowed and apart form one accident, which we got past in under five minutes we just kept going at 70mph ...

    ... loose ends have been tied up (at least the ones that I knew about) and so now I can go...and have fun...and relax and all that kinda stuff with a peaceful mind. The attached photo is today's photo of the day (potd) - we saw the Qantas plane pass by the window as the southwest flight was taxiing to the gate and knew instantly that it was going to be today's photo of the day since it captured both the airlines that we'd be flying today. ...

    ... managed to swap a house in L.A thanks to the kind offer of our Idaho Falls mates to put their Yellowstone cabin into the deal. So it all seemed to come together. About this time we decided we didn’t have passion to launch another expedition with or without the RV to kill the last week of our stay (probably would have been Sequioa national park) so instead bumped our flight forward a week.

    The famous Disneyland attraction 'It's a Small World' was very well done, beautiful green hedges were shaped into different animals, small boats floated on a blue canal, quaint umbrellas shaded the staff and of course the song Ít's a small world after all' played through hidden speakers. The boats floated through a building and weaved its way through different countries of the world, where the song was played in ...
