After a very relaxing break with the wifi, where we also saw our quiz team mates ( did I mention we won twice in one day a couple of days ago!), we walk down to the waterfront. Lots of activity is taking place dismantling barriers and seating along ...

... enticed us in- Elvis was rocking away so had a bite of lunch there . We put a nickel in the little juke box at our table and chose Neil Sedaka and The Platters- at least Willie did! Ventura is full of Thrift Shops! From Ventura we took the road called The Ocean Scenic Drive past lots of beaches and creek resorts with boats parked along side the houses. We stocked up with water at a Dollar Tree (pound shop to you and me). We saw evidence of a couple of houses being fumigated!! ...

        Starting Alex's adventure in Bluefields

Today was a long day and tomorrow will be even longer and harder for Alex as he will be going to Bluefields, he'll have to be at the airport at 5AM for a 6:15 flight. The flight to Managua was smooth, but uneventful, one stop in Houston to change planes. As you know we recently went to Turkey on Turkish airlines, the difference in services was far superior to that of United, a world of difference. In Houston we had lunch as we knew that United would not give us any meal ...
