... a welcome change from **** beer in plastic cups. 22.33 After some time to freshen up we made our way to Flight. Flight is one of the top 100 restaraunts in the USA. Flight is very expensive but hugely lovely. Their speciality is doing little trios of starters and entrees and puddings and also trios of wines. Sensational food, if slightly formally presented. So this started with a visit to the legendary Peabody Hotel to see the daily duck parade from the rooftop to the fountain in the foyer. Hard to believe that every day, twice a day in fact, this draws more than 50 people to watch 4 ducks waddle down a red carpet and jump into a fountain.....but it does....and we loved it! Following that the 5 ...

... front seats at the BBKing Blues Club. It was packed full. Very loud rock band playing. Had to wait ages to be served. The waiter was useless and rude. It was entertaining watching the dancing. An old couple gave a very cool performance of dirty dancing and then a younger couple gave a very real performance - so much so that an American woman apologised to us about it, saying how disgusted she felt about their antics. ...
