... a welcome change from **** beer in plastic cups. 22.33 After some time to freshen up we made our way to Flight. Flight is one of the top 100 restaraunts in the USA. Flight is very expensive but hugely lovely. Their speciality is doing little trios of starters and entrees and puddings and also trios of wines. Sensational food, if slightly formally presented. We all noted the extreme contrast with Clarksdale where ...

Should have realised how bad it was going to be when the sign out the front obviously hadn't been fixed for a hundred years! Looked heaps worse in real life! ... there is only the pool between the memorial garden and the mansion. Everyone is so respectful, no talking, no pushing and jostling giving everyone the chance to walk past slowly at their own pace. With the Mansion tour over we get back on the shuttle and see a bit more of the grounds before being taken back acorns the road where we started. There are other Elvis show rooms to visit with different themes such as his cars, his home town and Hawaii ...

When I caught the bus in the morning from Nashville to Memphis, there was an Aussie girl called Tash that I meet very briefly at the hostel. With her mate Zee. The chance meeting in the elevator has created some funny stories! We ended up catching a taxi together to our accommodation in Memphis and ended up planning the next couple of days together. That night we went out for a late lunch/early dinner. We also meet Daddio and Tomcat - two gentleman who run a tourist ...
