... for us the last couple months. Vern was doing fine and has rested up. He is ready to go to Alaska! All of the books we read said you need to be prepared, so we went and bought a spare tire and rim. We want to be well prepared – like a good Scout. We bought our other supplies and we were ready. After a quick snack and some pictures (they're coming, I promise!) we headed back down.

... on the way out. Since my thumbs do not work very well I had to use the heel of my thumb for the gas. My right hand is tired.
I am now on Whidbey Island visiting Marti and David. We are off to their friends birthday party and his daughters wedding shower. It is a beautiful sunny day if a little cool for me.
My next destination is my brother John and Cynthia's house in Portland on Monday.
