    ... so we headed back. IT'S a big city, lots of U turns ( the norm ) we ended up in Market Square, having had something to eat watching the world go by. A group of university students arrived on bicycles all dressed up in red white and blue and including their bicycles, with drums in tow. They entertained us for over hour.     What a day! This morning we left the motel after three very comfortable nights to set off for Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge Tennessee. We crossed the border into Tennessee from North Carolina after 45 minutes. We found Gatlinburg very busy as they were preparing for a midnight grand 4th July parade.     ... was really well laid out and had individual areas delineated with railroad tie size timbers. The centers were filled with fine gravel and there were picnic tables in each. These spots were all around the creek and most of them were full of people, sitting around, barbequing and just enjoying the beauty of this place.

    ... another, one car was on the opposing street and the light changed for his direction. No other cars were around, except us, and it still took forever for our light to turn green. This would drive me nuts, that’s for sure.

    On our drive we passed a place called the Muscle Car Museum. I am not sure what it is, but I need to find out. They were closed already so we will have to check it out tomorrow.
