My fearless leader who took the wheel after we left Topeka didn't check the gas gauge. We made it to Manhattan with about 2 miles to spare (according to the truck). We spent a lot of time "nursing it" and coasted down a 2 mile hill which probably saved us. Once we got to the gas station we messed around for about 2 minutes because dad didn't know if the guy at the pump was leaving or not. We are back on the road now and have about 30 minutes until we get to the hotel.

Manhattan, KS was a good time. After previously spending a long weekend there, I felt like I had seen about as much as I could. I was pretty much correct. However, because of our gracious host, Kraig, and his pals, Betsy, Beth, Diane, Austin, Rachel and a few others whose names escape me at the moment, it was a great time.
