... it’s interesting to see and really puts the Rocky Mountains into perspective.

By the time we reached Hill City, Kansas, we were ready for some lunch and Yelp led us to a really great place called Red’s Family Restaurant. They claimed to be famous for their pan-fried chicken and we were lucky enough to arrive on pan-fried chicken buffet day. We got the salad bar, buffet, and dessert for $8. Not bad ...

... but lost an hour almost immediately due to a time change - yup we are in central time! Getting closer to Eastern time! Which is going to be an adjustment when we get back home. We have thrown bedtime out the window (I know, we are just as surprised as you about our lack of schedule!) because of late nights and time zone changes. Shaw and Kit's was awesome. I really wish we could go there again. I really enjoyed the water balloon fight, playing in the sandbox, playing with their cats and dogs.
