... The displays and exhibits involving the 8 years of his presidency were as expected. After having been to quite a few libraries, it has become quite obvious to me that this library needs to be updated with multi-media and interactive displays to attract the younger generations. The movie portion of the tour needs improved as well. So far, the Lincoln theatre sets the high mark for interactive movies!

We're heading out right after lunch to get a head start, the weather is perfect and we are packed and loaded. We took hwy 179 to 87 through Boonville where we jumped onto hwy 5 then at Fayette got on hwy 3 I took a picture of the New Franklin sign showing it was Sara Evans' hometown. ... did manage to find an Army Corps of Engineers campground right on a lake not far from the Preserve. The sites are nice and well shaded and the facilities, which include flush toilets and showers, seem to be well kept. This definitely turned out to be a good alternative to our original plans.
