... steak dinner. Dom, who is the executive chef for the Houston Astros made a huge pan of Mac n Cheese to go with the steaks and sweet Texas corn. I'm sorry to my Aunty Ruthann, who used to be the reigning Mac n Cheese champ, but Dom's has barely eeked out ahead. This is just a blog entry to say that this blog probably won't be active until around March. I mean we do a little bit of traveling around Houston... If you can call Galveston or The Texas Renaissance Festival traveling... But this blog is meant to document our road trips.

We arrived at Best Preowned RV yesterday around 10 am, and we packed, and we moved, and we went up and down 5 steps in each coach so many times, I think it might have equaled a climb to the top of the Empire State Building. We both are hurting so badly we can't believe it. Finally got everything out of the Monaco and into the Safari by around 4 pm today, so ...
... We was able to check in early; we definetly did not fit in here, it was full of business women and men in formal wear. Just two smelly travellers with backpacks on here! Haha. We managed to catch the last of breakfast, so went and had some toast and scrambled eggs before going up to our room, it was a suite with kitchen (hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave/oven and breakfast bar) and then we had a sofa bed and one double bed, our bathroom was to the side with a separate sink. ...
... 20 minutes and we were all chafing at the bit to get inside and see the displays. Finally finished, we walked into the display area where all manner of stalls selling leather goods (belts, hand bags/bag handles), hats, jewellery, clothing and craft were set up. None of us were particularly keen to buy the products but it was fun wandering through and browsing. Behind the stalls was the livestock. We saw the biggest longhorn steer we'd ever encountered as well ...
