    Bags are packed! Very early by our normal standards but then it is not every day that we set off to explore Argentina then set sail for the Antarctica. A rain, freezing rain, snow event has the potential to make our Tuesday departure from JFK interesting........

    ... an oil change. On the back to the campground we went through Allentown and Bethlehem. There are some nice parts of both towns but there seem to be a lot more not-so-good parts.     ... often in Atlantic Canada and we noticed that no-one (except us) wore raincoats - they just wore their everyday clothes and didn't hurry to avoid getting put of the rain - guess they're used to it.....

    We saw very few signs of poverty, even in big cities. There appears to be more of a middle class in Canada, although there certainly are some wealthy Canadians - we drove by many huge estates on our travels.

    ... we rode 845 kms from Bristol, Virginia through West Virginia, Maryland and finally Pennsylvania straight up Interstate 81. It was overcast all day and we did encounter some drizzling rain but only for about an hour.

    ... spray me.....it was really musky, and smelled for about a 7 foot buffer zone around me! After we finished the photos, we released him the woods - out of harms way. (Then Bag Of Tricks thanked me for catching it..lol ) We said our goodbyes to Bag Of Tricks and Jester, then thanked them one last time for the trail magic.....and got back to hiking, a steep and rocky (as is all of PA!) trail awaited us.
