... back to Chicago stopping at a truck stop on the way for a drink. This turned out to be another classic diner experience. Going into Chicago is was bucketing down with rain and difficult driving but we made it ok. I dropped the girls at our hotel, re-fueled the car and walked back to the hotel. The girls shopped for the arvo while I watched the Masters golf. Nice dinner at the 'Big Bowl' (Thai/Chinese). We're off to explore Chicago 'Old town' tomorrow.

London Day 6 Today was finally the day, I was going to see my Gunners in person at Ethiad Stadium vs Manchester City. Justin and I caught the early train from the Euston station in London to Manchester. We got there without any issue and found the stadium on our first try (pretty impressive if you ask me). Despite the cold rain, and a little snow too, we arrived. We weren't allowed in the stadium until an hour and a half before the match, so we killed time by ...

London Day 5 This was our first complete free day in London. The only problem with today was figuring out how to spend all of our free time. Justin and I got an early start by getting down to breakfast and getting our bus passes. Our first stop was Buckingham Palace. It was so cool to see the guards, the features of the place, the statues. I can see why so many tourists make a stop there. We then tried to head to the London Eye, but the line was absurd, we backtracked to the tube ...
