Today, we went for a drive to Rockford and visited the oldest Harley Davidson dealer in the world.
On the way home, we stopped in at a couple of antiques shops and had a look. We also drove past a Chrysler dealership. The place was massive. We had seen it on the way in, but looking at it from the back, was just amazing. There were train carriages that had cars in them ready to transport.
... out some fun stores, ate some famous deep pan stuffed crust pizza for lunch and really enjoyed the sights and sounds. On the way home we drove along Lakeshore Drive. Lake Michigan is so huge it looks like the ocean. They have sandy beaches, boat marinas, grassy parklands and walking paths all along the lake. So lovely - and it's all here right next to this huge city! We have once again enjoyed our Chicago downtown ...
