    ... to Americans along the way, everyone has been asking 'why on earth are you going to Iowa? Do you like corn?' Well, in actual fact we do!! The Prairie Learning Center was very informative with a 15 minute video on how they were restoring the prairie in this refuge and a number of interactive exhibits.     2am Stop. Interesting named fuel stations out here. Kum & Go. Saw at least 10 deer just grazing. Too dark and didn't want to scare them off. But pretty cool. Took 45 min.
