... 52.70 on visa. It was wonderful to get back "home". Because it felt so good to back"home" we decided we did not want to go anyplace for supper. We did not have anything to cook for supper so we ordered a pizza........33.62. It was delicious and we ate half of it and put the other half in our fridge so we could have it tomorrow again. As many high-ways and interstates were clogged from those fleeing to the inland and the higher ground, some realized that there was little sense in running. Though the promise of safety was only a half days drive away, the roads were so full that the drive would be more treacherous than taking shelter with a good supply of food ...

      ... it out!

We got an early start the next morning and continued to head Northwest…after driving thru Missouri, Kansas, and NEBRASKA (this has to be the longest, most boring state there is!!!!), we decided to take a break and make a pit stop at one of Howard’s favorite stores, Cabellas in Sidney, Nebraska. After walking around and looking at all the cool stuff and me getting a much too long of a lesson about ...
