Pottered around the hostel, had breakfast and out early to walk into the city.10 minutes into our day we were stood watching a polar bear (that Ni refused to believe we'd see in a park) having an early morning swim, followed by lions, tigers, monkeys and all for free at Lincoln Park Zoo.

After about an hour in the zoo we realised our brand new, specialist walking bottle was ...

Started with meeting I&J at the Sears building so after we walked over to Grant/Millennium parks for general loveliness and much sculpture -some good ( The bean -though I'm not much for A Kapoor it is big fun for all -quirky photos guaranteed ) then hanging out in the water fountain , sadly video behind curtains of water not working. Decided to give art institute and boat trip a miss today ... But went to the unremarkable and bit tacky ( not in a good way) ...
