I chose this hotel as I had several Priority Points that I wanted to use. It was cheap and near the airport, which meant it was far from downtown. However, they had a shuttle van that would take guests to the train station at the airport, so that worked out.

The staff was very friendly and always helpful with our questions.

We spent the majority of today at the airport almost 10 hrs. Tracy was able to find someone on our trip that could give shots! Yeah, that saved her a lot of pain if I had of done it. We met Dr. Anderson and I am very impressed, such a great man with a heart for evangelism! Already witnessed to a family on the train going to our terminal. Getting ready for our 13 hr flight to Amman, ...

... a "dale" curse!!! :-) :-) As soon as the game finished we got a quick exit as the exits were at the top of our rows, we started heading east (maybe) getting to a main road so we could try and hail a cab. It was difficult cause there was always someone in front of us that would get one first. We eventually got a break when two cabs pulled up to three groups of waving arms, and two groups went for the one taxi!!!! So we went for the second one and got in. We were waved off with ...

... thunder meant we beat a retreat back into the city at lunchtime, and did some shopping, interspersed with lunch. We had a storm, plenty of rain which freshened things up (a bit) and bobbed back to the hotel for 40 winks (me and Jane only) before dinner. We ate at an Italian called Quartinos. We'd passed it a couple of times and it was always full, and buzzing. But what most ...

... and comparison is difficult because moments are often beautiful in their own unique ways, but here is a rough countdown of highlights from this amazing journey, with my favorite coming in as # 1! This was difficult, I had to cheat and lump together some things, like in #10! Also, because the UK counts the ground floor as Floor 0, and the second floor as Floor 1, I am using it as an excuse to ...

... wondering around the city seeing some tourist sites before meeting Sarah after she'd finished work for Coronas at 'Ed Debevics' diner to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. We're not sure what the celebration on 5 May is for, but we celebrated it. The diner is a bit of a tourist trap we are told, but we loved it: the staff are intentionally rude and they dance on the bar for your entertainment. Not in a weird ...
