I chose this hotel as I had several Priority Points that I wanted to use. It was cheap and near the airport, which meant it was far from downtown. However, they had a shuttle van that would take guests to the train station at the airport, so that worked out.
The staff was very friendly and always helpful with our questions.

... in 24 hours. We had eaten lunch at noon and after that, the dining room and snack bar were both closed, so there was nothing to eat except snacks that we had brought along. We finally pulled into the station around 8 PM...hungry and tired. We were instructed to proceed to the Amtrak customer service desk to find out what their plans were for us. We stood in line with all the other passengers...some were very grumpy about missing ...
... Italy. We had a lunch of heavy and huge portions of classic Italian-American fare and moved on with full bellies and neutral impressions. "To the beach!" was Michael's rallying cry. "To the hotel for bathing shorts." was Pavel's practical response. Howlin' Wolf and Otis Rush blaring out of the top-down Mustang gave us away as tourists, but we were too sun-drenched to care.
Swimming at the many beaches of Chicago ...
