... and it’s quite a chorus... wondering if I’d be able to sleep because it was so warm. Definitely back to sandals and short sleeves.

Anyway, back to my day. I got on a freeway first thing and managed fairly well, maybe because there were only two lanes and it felt more like home. I got to Galax a few hours later, stocked up on groceries although they didn’t seem to have ...

I know that isn't quite a big deal. I've met many people in my travels who have been "across the pond". However, I don't know many that have had an itinerary like this.

I will be traveling with my best friends, Ken ...

We headed back to Charlotte on Friday morning planning on making a return stop to Fatz for lunch, however once we reached Shelby we decided that if Red Bridges Barbecue Lodge had made it both on NC Barbecue Society Historic Barbecue Trail, and was highly recommended by Gail from Fatz, then perhaps we should give it a chance.

We pulled into the diner which was very quaint and ordered one of their small trays for me and one of their large ...
