    ... man in Chicago. We discussed the differences in cigarette prices in our respective countries before he realised he had missed his stop. He jumped out at the next one and stumbled off into the night. We got off the train at O'Hare airport and boarded the free shuttle bus that would return us to the Sheraton.     ... many birds flying low and in circles....that should have tipped us off that there were many bugs in the area - Mayflies!! Yuck! They don't bite but they do stick to you! We made it through the swarms and saw a beautiful sunset over the lake.

    Back at the lodge we fixed paper plates of meat and veggies (leftovers in the cooler) and the girl behind the desk warmed them in ...

    ... casino, but not right at it. So we wound up in Thackerville, OK.

    Getting to Oklahoma was a challenge. Just north of Temple, I-35 was virtually shut down because of an incident some 12 miles up the road. It took an hour and 20 minutes to do those 12 miles! By the time we got to Thackerville we'd been on the road over 7 hours. We were so glad to finally get there we weren't even remotely interested in unhooking the toad and going ...

    Finding the Lincoln Bridge within the Chickasaw National Recreation area has been a captivating thought since first observing this U.S. Mint quarter from 2011.
