... back into Texas as we headed to the Fort Worth area.
We did not see anything of great interest to us in Fort Worth, so we decided to just rest and relax at this 1000 Trails site. We have been moving to a new location just about every day. So we picked up some groceries and plan to cook, swim, rest, read, and Kumihimo for a few days before heading near Dallas, Texas. So, do not fret if you do not hear from us for a few days....

... many birds flying low and in circles....that should have tipped us off that there were many bugs in the area - Mayflies!! Yuck! They don't bite but they do stick to you! We made it through the swarms and saw a beautiful sunset over the lake.
Back at the lodge we fixed paper plates of meat and veggies (leftovers in the cooler) and the girl behind the desk warmed them in ...
