      Soaked, scared and amazed

      ... expectations set high we went to see the 'World of Color' (sic. as the Americans spell it). Again not knowing what to expect the show was a huge array of water jets in the middle of the lake on Paradise Pier. Light was projected onto the jets of water making a display of video appear while in sync with a soundtrack while the water jets were lit up with amazing color (sic.). Absolutely stunning.

      ... them weren't operating today. We actually found that a lot of areas of the park there were only some things open and others closed for the winter. A bit strange, but that's America for you!

      ... gone during the holiday season as the entire park is decked out in Christmas decor and the parade has Santa and elves, etc. Unfortunately, it was really difficult to get photos of the parade because everyone was standing and it was a little hard to see. They danced and sung to the same song on repeat as they went along for about 10-15 minutes. The dancers and people on the floats probably sing that song in their sleep. The fireworks weren't until 9:15pm, so we had about four hours ...

      ... poor girl we pushed on wondering if I should carry on drop a pack and return for the wounded. We rounded the top of the face and there like a beacon of hope was a primo swimming hole!
