      We were set to leave early Sunday morning on a road trip to celebrate Andy's birthday in Charleston. We reserved the Andrew Pinckney Inn as well as Circa 1886 for Andy's birthday dinner.       We had a great day in Birmingham. We dropped into a local winery to taste some local flavours and chose a couple a bottles to take away with us. Yum!

      We have been preparing for our trip since we decided to go in March. This week we finalized all the accommodation reservations. I ordered a new purse: the thing came in yesterday and is astonishingly tiny! So cute! And it will leave my hands free to carry shopping bags.
