    Last Day at Sea

A travel blog entry by grrraceface on Jun 20, 2015

Well, today is the last day on the cruise ship at sea. We arrive back in Florida tomorrow. Today, I will simply relax and make sure all my stuff is together. More eating and maybe swimming. :P I'm really sad to leave, but I am so happy to return. It'll be nice to be back home. :] I would definitely do a cruise again. I mean, everything you need on a ship and visits to beautiful islands, what more could you ask ...

    ... drop in the ocean.

This trip is easy - a cruise to the Caribbean. However, we will get to see 2 new places - St. Thomas and St. Martin. And aren't those places the best of all? The places we have not yet been.

After a quick flight to DFW, we made it to Fort Lauderdale. Tomorrow we embark on our next cruise, aboard the beautiful (and brand-new) Regal ...

... Lobster Bar is on the next corner down. This is a very ritzy and reasonably expensive restaurant that, obviously, specialises in seafood. I ordered a glass of Cotes du Rhone Guigal and sipped it at the bar. They had Blue Point oysters for $1.49 each, so I ordered half a dozen to snack on before deciding on a place for dinner. The oysters came with a tomato sauce, horse radish and vinegar. Not bad, but not as good as the Dragon's Breath at Wild Sea last night.

... them in real life are often two different experiences. And in this case, it was very confusing. We had to pay attention to numerical progress of the markers for one channel without confusing them with the numerical markers for the other channel because they all overlapped. And the water was skinny and shallow. Then we had to make a very tight u turn directly in front of a sea wall in between two sets of channel markers. And finally we had to remember to switch to red on right ...
