Day three was a day of shopping! Costco, Sawgrass Mills Mall a stop at the Rainforest Café for a late lunch and then back to hotel for a swim.

... This afternoon I'll go for groceries time to get stocked up for our trip into the Bahamas. There will be provisioning stores along the way but here I have the luxury of many grocery stores.

... and settled in for a very restful evening. We had an early start in the morning, and we were determined to drive through Alligator Alley on our way to our next stop. Disappointingly there wasn't a single alligator sighting the entire trip. I was more than a little disappointed.
P.S. I think Lola was most spoiled on this particular stop, Chuck and Mary were so sweet to accommodate our little pup.

In a very touristy fashion we left the parkade without doing enough trip planning only to be welcomed on the outside by a barrage of signs for freeways that blended cash only tolls, pass tolls and untolled freeways. ... at some service centres and sampled Dunkin' Donuts for morning tea and Wendy's for lunch. We were hoping to go to a wildlife centre on the way but we ran out of time and so went straight to the hotel.
