... Nothing really exciting. East Texas is just your typical southern scenery though the speed limits did seem a bit high. The 2 lane roads were 70 mph and the 4 lane were 75 mph, keep in mind that people have driveways that connect to these roads and there are lots of blind hills and curves. I guess Texans like to live dangerously, and don't like getting speeding tickets, so they set the speed limits high.

Usually, these tiny bats come out at sunset, but the time varies depending on how hungry they are. Turns out they must have had bat Thanksgiving the previous day, because they don't start emerging until well after sunset.
