    ... architecture and a quaint seafront. A nice place to spend a few hours. After our exploring we managed to find a cheap motel on the outskirts of the city for $39 run by an Indian family. We managed to get a free room upgrade after the owner realised that Mark was English and liked cricket, result.

    ... This time I am going to get off and actually go tour some of the mansions. Have no idea what I am gonna do tomorrow night since I don't think Savannah has much of a night life...oh well, I'll figure something out.     Took off into hot, humid conditions with very limited visibility. The logbook indicates that we "barely saw a thing".

    I had selected Savannah as a place to visit because I had never been there, and I had heard that it was a beautiful town. It certainly is beautiful, but the heat and humidity were so oppressive that it was very hard to enjoy our ...
